Issue after installing l'speed

Hello!
I`m having an issue on my android tablet after installing l'speed!
After boot Titanium Backup Pro and File Commander Premium stopped working!
After a second boot both these apps disappeared from my tablet!
Every time i reinstall theme the same thing happens after boot!
Can someone help me please?

Direct Share Not Working Properly When Sharing From Sony Album

When I share a picture from the stock Sony Album, the two rows of "Direct Share" quick contacts are not changing to reflect recently shared-with contacts. The two rows of "Share With" options stay static with contacts that I don't even share with regularly. I'm on the latest stock build 32.1.A.1.185, and I've never unlocked the bootloader or rooted this Z5p.

I factory reset it twice, and I even reloaded the whole build from scratch using the Repair option of Sony Companion, and still this behavior remains. I have given the Sony Album every permission that it asks for (Contacts, Location, Phone, Storage, Read Device Unique ID) and nothing seems to correct this issue.

Has Direct Share been properly implemented within the stock Sony Album app? What core app control Sharing? Is anyone else experiencing this issue on their Z5p? If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Precise procedure for switching roms/kernels?

I'm looking for a definite procedure for switching roms and a kernel. Im currently running pure nexus w elementalx kernel. Everything's working great but part of my reason for buying 6p was all the rom and kernel options. So I wanted to try Chroma w elemental x....Here's what I did:
1. TWRP factory reset THEN I went back and wiped /system
2. Flash Chroma, gapps, supersu 2.65
3. wipe dalvik & cache (not sure if it's necessary but I did)
4. reboot
This seemed fine. Chroma booted up, no app crashes. Now I wanted to flash elementalx. Heres where I was working off mixed knowledge but decided to do it this way.
1. wipe dalvik cache
2. flash chroma, gapps, elementalx
3. wipe dalvik cache (yes. Once more to be sure)
***Im not sure the above is the textbook method BUT it worked. I booted into chroma, elementalx was present and working like it did with pure nexus. For about an hour or so I used the phone, making no changes at all in elementalx. It was getting late. I plugged in my phone and fell asleep. When I woke up 7 hours later it had rebooted and was stuck in bootloop. I tried forcing a reboot. It looked like it was going to work (reaching the "optimizing apps" part) but then just continued to loop. Flashed my pure nexus backup and Im up & running again.
I know the exact cause is nearly impossible to diagnose without a log and I don't have one. Im just looking for some guidance from users with more experience. If you were running pure nexus and elementalx, and you want to try a new rom like Chroma plus elementalx, how exactly would you proceed? Thanks

Copy & Paste - "Ctrl+C" | Foreign Languages

I am able to copy Chinese text within Remix OS (32 bit, latest version) if I right click it and select "copy", however the shortcut "Ctrl+C" does not copy it - though that shortcut does copy English text.

Example given:

Play Store is crashing when I download Apps over 50MB

Hey everyone,
I'm using Cyanogen Mod 13 on my Galaxy S5. Everytime I want to install an app from Playstore that is over 50 MB my Playstore crashes. I did clear the cache and deleted all updates. Also I flashed the Gapps again. Then I unistalled Playstore completely and reinstalled it. Nothing changes. I wonder why I can install small apps but no bigger ones. My phone has enough space so this isn't the problem.

Hello friends :)

i ****ed my LG G2, so i decided to try revive my ancient moto g XT1033

Some informations:
>Never get rooted
>Bootloop locked
>Installed the soak test 5.0.1
>When they got bricked, the phone get 0% battery. When i try to turn on, the phone just pass the bootlogo and stop at a black screen.
>In recovery options, any option just show me a msg saying "Boot up failed"
>After try, i sucessfully unlock the bootloader, but when i try to pass on ADB any ROM or CustomRecovery, they show me this msg:

Restart and ......... LG logo! ..... only .......

Restore Problems

I have been running cyanogenmod for a while now and would like to go back to stock. I googled some methods and tried them out. I relocked my bootloader and ran the ruu exe that I found on htc's website for the tmobile m8. It didn't work at all. It just put my phone in a weird state with just a silver HTC logo on the screen. Although before I clicked next, the RUU was not able to identify the version of the rom currently on the phone. Maybe that has to do something with it? But after that, I had to re unlock the bootloader though fastboot adb, flash twrp through there and then restore my backup. I am not very well versed with these processes, but can someone please help me out with getting back to complete stock? Oh, and I also don't have s-off on my device. I tried to get it, but I had a PIE error in the root adb shell.

Xperia (Z1) IMEI Null, Baseband Unknown and Sim is not being detected.

I Have a Xperia Z1 C6903 run Lollipop 5.1
One day when i switched on the phone , the IMEI was NULL, the baseband was unknown and i was not getting signals from my network provider.

I flashed stock rom but it is still in the same condition

Ive tried many other methods but they also didnt work.

Hey guys. i wanna show you my ME with xposed framework modules

Hi my friends. I am a HTC ME user and i am from China.;) To be honest. I don't like it at all. Not only the bad cpu but also it have no developers support. :(. In my mind, all HTC phone are have so many roms but ME not. After a long time, with the help of some of China's forum finally i rooted my ME and install the Xposed Framework. So now i think it 's better. So now i will show you some xposed framework modules i have installed.

Getting Mms to work with T-mobile Note 5 using Straight Talk

Hello all I've been trying to figure out how to get Mms to work with my T-mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on Straight Talk and I figured it out. First, all your Access point names should be as in the attached images. Then turn off WIFI calling feature in your settings (USE Cellular preferred) and finally enable data roaming. MMS will work with no issues!

Can’t install any downloaded APK file on Android 5.1

Hi, I have the Homtom HT3 running Android 5.1 Lollipop with firmware version HT3 v2.06 and it is not rooted.
I have tried to install application from the Google Play store, some will install, such as Whatsapp, while others like Asphalt Nitro/8, Traffic Rider will not install (but it will download and there is enough space in my internal storage) (ERROR 505).
So I downloaded the game from the Muzhiwan market and when installing, the 'Install' button does not work. Hence, I tried to switch off App permissions, then the install button worked BUT the app was not installed. Note that Unknown sources .... is switched on.
I've googled and they say to disable Lux screen brightness something like, to my knowledge I do not have such application in my phone, it is a new phone out of the box.
Any help?

SM-G900F Downgrade problem

hello everyone

3 days ago I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F and the pre-installed OS was Android 5.0 Lollipop

I wanted to downgrade to KitKat 4.4.2 but when I flashed the 4.4.2 firmware at the end of The Flash the phone Rebooted but but there was nothing on the screen and the phone was stuck on a boot loop so I reflashed the lollipop firmware and everything worked
The question is it possible to downgrade to kitkat 4.4.2 knowing that the preinstalled firmware was Android lollipop 5.0 for rooting purposes to keep knox 0x0

Navbar buttons offcenter after changing dpi

After changing lcd density to 240 my navbar buttons aren't centered anymore. I've attached a screenshot of the problem.

Power adapter

JIDE apparently doesn't care that people want extra power adapters. I want one because I work in multiple locations and I don't want to have to remember to carry the one I have with me.

I like my tablet. I don't like the apparent lack of support from JIDE. This seems to be a common complaint among UT users. I don't predict long term success for JIDE if they don't get their customer support side to work.

Odin will not flash TWRP

I have the SM-G920T S6 and I recently tried to install twrp and root using this guide: http://ift.tt/1SR8OU1. I have always used a nexus device so I am not familiar with odin, but I thought I had it figured out. In odin it says the recovery flash was successful and gave me a PASS message. Once I tried rebooting to recovery it was still the stock recovery and no twrp. I have gone back over the instructions, but I still get the same results. I have checked and my system is now marked as custom but Knox is not tripped. Any help would be appreciated.

Lost IMEI,no backup

Ended up flashing the rooted tot file I already had but now my imei is gone :(. What can I do? My imei on Verizon was bad so I just want to restore the BAD one (not change it for illegal reasons) so I can at least have it working on Straight talk again. Again I'm trying to restore the BAD one not a new or different one.

3rd party Task manager apps not working

I'm kinda disappointed with the high RAM usage of my mi 5 so I went looking for the running services but I can't find anything on the system. I'm not satisfied with the default task manager on the recent apps so I went looking on the playstore but every time I went to see the running app list, it always come up empty. Why is that? Is there a fix for it?

Is it possible to install the Oculus Gear VR shop software into a Note 3?

Hi. I'd like to know if it's possible to install the Oculus Gear VR shop into a Note 3 phone. I know the Note 4 automatically downloads and install the Oculus software as soon as it's plugged into a GearVR headset, and this operation doesn't work in the Note 3. But, is there an APK somewhere that can be installed in the Note 3 to get the shop and download VR software from it to be used with a generic brand VR headset for smartphones? (not the GearVR).

Can't decrypt, bootlooping and can't get into recovery or download

My phone randomly rebooted today and then got stuck in a bootloop.

After a few restarts the phone then sorted of booted but claimed that the data was encrypted and it asked for my lock pin. The phone then confirmed that the pin was correct but that the data was corrupted.

I then tried to boot to recovery. After doing POWER + VOL UP I get to the HTC FTM mode and then when selecting Reboot to Bootloader the phone just gets stuck in a bootloop and after a while it goes back to the "Your phone is encrypted" screen.

So I tried going to the download mode and it get stuck in a bootloop with the silver HTC logo (the one that pops up when you go into the download mode).

I cant seem to find a thread that deals with the issue I am experiencing. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Who is really missing Rooting and Roming?

I've always had an Android phone. My last was the Nexus 6p. I felt that phone, because it was stock would not need to be rooted, but I feel into that trap. Waiting for small tweaks to a stock rom that was already pretty good.

With no root for the S7 edge, I have found that I don't really care or miss it for right now. This phone easily make it through a day or more of battery. I have a Chase account, so I use Samsung pay a lot. Theming make it easy to give this phone a better than stock touch wiz look. I've always loved wireless charging.

If I have any gripes with this phone it is low speaker volume, which if we did have root I know that could be fixed. Not having the ir blaster to change the TV around the house would have been great to keep. I have two boys, 10 and 7,and they are always misplacing the remotes.

Other than that the S7 edge address a main concern with Android phones and that is battery life.

Hello together, today i receive my new Meizu Pro 5.

Specs.

Andorid Version 5.1
Build number: Flyme OS 5.1.5.0A

1. Is there a working manuel for a rooting the phone?
Ill try SuperSU, SuperUser etc. Apps. but it doesent work. ( "SU Binary must be updated" error )

2. The reason while i like to root is to localize the Phone ( Playstore etc. in my native language german).
I ll try it with "more local2" App, but everytime when the it trys to use superuser privilege it fails.

i don't know what to do... i think i read every tutorial for unbrick my phone but nothing works...

my situation:

-i unlocked my fone by unnoficial method, instaled twrp and everything was ok.
i decided to instal sMIUI, but nowhere i read that is necesary to delete emmc file... so i bricked my phone.

bootloader got relocked, i can't turn on my phone, mi logo appears during 1 sec > screen off > again mi logo during 0.001s > screen off

when i plug in my phone into my pc, i have black screen and red led, but it's not adb mode.
i can't enter adb, my pc (windows 10 x64), i use command "adb devices" and list is empty
i can't edl
i can enter in fastboot mode.
i can't flash nothing, "failed: device is locked"

anyone can help me?

if i unlock officialy my bootloader, can i flash again stable rom or something? i just had my phone during 2 weeks.
can i do anything?

So tired asking everyone and searching but still can't find anything

I successfully compiled my first kernel and tried to add schedulers and governors.

I just want to make a more custom one like adding or modifying hotplug drivers. I tried looking on others' source on their git but I still can't understand and don't know where to look exactly.

I'm a dev and have a background in programming (obviously), kernel stuffs is just new to me so I need more articles or guide about it. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Seems like all tutorials I can see about compiling kernel from source is similar. No more customization. *sigh*

Problem With desire 626g+ dual sim

i hv root my 626g+ and after that i try to install TWRP recovery but in that time it haven't this model, i hv install and restat by mistake after restart phone show a dead android! i push power button and hold it phone power off, and normally up. but i can't enter recovery mode in my phone, when i press volume down + power phone enter this screen (the photo) , what can i do? and now i hv problem with wifi when i dont use phone 4 15 min wifi dosn't connect to net, i hv to turn off it and then on, i am worry about unroot it and install ota updates cause of that screen. what can i do? thanks

Unable to re-download purchased music to S4

I downloaded google play music from playstore. I then deleted it to free up some space believing that I could download it again for free but when I go back to playstore to download again there is no facility to do that - only 'listen' or 'subscribe'. I can download and pay for new tunes but cannot download the tunes I've already paid for. I get the message "waiting for music to sync" then "your music is currently being added - please wait a moment and try again". I'm trying to download it again onto the same phone not another device.

What am I doing wrong??

OnePlus One (STOCK CM12 OS) stuck on Boot Loop after update to CM13

Hello!
I am using a OnePlus One with stock CM12 OS. Never rooted my mobile nor did I unlock my BootLoader. No CMW or TWRP installed in mobile. I recently installed the CM13 OTA on my device. Since then, it is stuck on Boot Loop.
I tried wiping cache partition - it didn't work.
I tried installing the update through recovery mode - didn't work.
I tried wiping app data - didn't work.
Is there a way where I can fix this boot loop issue without losing any of my data?
[The data (except for app data) present in my device is very important & hasn't been backed-up]

Gear S with LG G5

Hey, I just got the LG G5 today. I've been using the Gear S for less than a year with my S6 Edge with no problems at all (after changing from the LG G Watch R, Samsung seemed to lock out the old watch with a software update).

I've been trying for the past few hours to set up my Gear S with the LG, but nothing's working. I've tried what seems to be the 2 most popular methods and neither worked. The closest I got was pairing the 2 via bluetooth in the Gear app, the watch said it needed to reboot and factory reset. But then nothing. Just stuck in an unending connecting loop.

The G5 is running Android 6, I've heard that the Gear S has some problems with that.

I don't need full functionality for the Gear S, just call and text notifications (it will do the calls via a normal BT connection but not texts). I use it as a music player as well, but since that isn't tied to the phone, I know I'll have that no matter what.

I've also heard about possibly being able to install Android Wear on the Gear S. Is that possible?

Can someone please help?

Hide root from Barclays Mobile Banking

So I've installed CM13 on my OnePlus 2 but when I try to use my online banking app it tells me to unroot my phone. If I install Xposed then the app crashes so I can't use the Xposed RootCloak. I've also tried the Cydia Substrate but it's so out of date that it won't work on Android M. Can anyone help me?

[Q] Power button works occasionally

The power button works occasionally.

When I turn off the LG G3 D852 phone it won't turn on unless I pull and replace the battery and press the power button again.

I have tried changing custom ROMS (Carbon 4.4 and and Res Remix 6.0.1), changing batteries (original battery and brand new Anker).

I thought it was a hardware problem but why would the power button work after pulling the battery?

I know I can leave it on all the time, but it bothers me.

Would appreciate any help and thanks in advance.

Forgive me for my newbie questions and the possibility that there is a condensed thread somewhere that gives me a step by step guide. I searched, but failed to find one... :)

I just bought this unit:

After using it for a few weeks there are some REALLY annoying things bout it that need addressing.

BT music player is terrible. No track info and only basic navigation tools from on screen.
Radio screen is horrible too. The station name is tiny and the ability to store your favourite stations on the buttons you choose is missing.
Music player is nasty to look at, especially if you have 80Gb of tunes to plough through.

So, it looks like I need to change the software. But HOW? I need a simple step by guide to help me out. I don't want to brick the thing! Specs are:

UNIVERSAL head unit.
OS: Android 4.4 Kit Kat,
CPU: RK3188 Cortex A9 Quad Core,
RAM: DDR3 1GB Nand Memory: 16GB,

Bootloop - Will the Big Core Disable Tool work with the AT&T H810

Unfortunately have not been able to confirm this one way or the other yet. My second lg G4 H810 (AT&T model) bootlooped about 6 weeks ago and I have been trying to figure any way to get the data off of it. Has anyone been able to use the big core disable tool to get the at&t model to turn back on?

Only concerned with recovering the data (photos from a friends wedding after the last backup).

How much money have you "LOST" due to not being able to root the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge?

So, here we are, April 29th and still no root. I was curious the other day as to how much money I've spent over the years on apps that require root in able to use and were purchased because of the fact that at the time I had a device and always have had one that is rooted. So between the apps such as Clockwork MOD, Chainfires SuperSU, Flashfire, Flashify, Quickboot, ROMToolbox PRO, SDFix, Tasker, OMEGA PRO, Alliance Pro Bronze, Totamium Backup PRO, the endless themes for AOSP theme engine... geez the list goes on.


Final calculations for all apps that I've purchased that are only usable on a device with root = $ 437.88 !!!!

htc one m8 stuck in bootloop, help needed

It was my first atteempt to root.
I unlocked the bootloader from htcdev then used twrp
I downloaded supersu version 2.02 put in on my sd card and flashed it
I had supersu in my app drawer but it said SU binaries weren't installed and i had to reroot but i didn't have any problem with the functioning of my phone.
I downloaded the last version 2.46 from chainfire
I wipe cash and dalvik and then rebooted. My phone got stuck on the white screen with htc logo
I couldn't turn it off so i let the battery drain. Tried rebooting, same problem.
I would like to go back to stock.
Please help and I need step by step instructions if possible.

Java&WinRAR-(dirthack) to get files >4GB to USB-Disk for Kodi

Hi together,

last year I've installed a 1st-Gen FireTV with Kodi in combination with a 4TB USB HDD for my parents RV. Don't exactly remember how I got the 4TB disk to fat32, but google should provide the answer, since it did for me than. The bigger issue anyway was to get files bigger than 4GB on the disk. The trick for my was to find out, that Kodi can access *.rar archives as if it was a file. So I wrote a java "dirtyhack": It uses a combination of java and WinRAR. Java to determine if a file is bigger than 4GB or not. If it is smaller, just copy the file, if it is bigger, call WinRAR with the right parameters to create a splittet archive consisting of parts smaller than 4GB on the HDD.

So first you choose a source-folder, than select a destination-folder (should be the Disk ;) ) and all files get copied recursively.

As I'm currently updating the HDD and have unsuccessfully searched for an easier way (after I've installed all updates on the ftv *doh!*) I thought I could share my Code, so here you go:

Nexus 6p nethunter problems

I installed kali nethunter on my new nexus 6p.
first everything sems to be ok, but the hid attacks, the duckhunter attacks and wifite don't work. I fixed the error in wifite by launching it through sudo, but now it says: scanning for wireless devices... and stays there.
I haven't an external wificard, could that be the reason why wifite won't work?
Any boddy some ideas how to fix the problems with hid and wifite??

Nexus 4 SoftBrick - Bootloop?

Hi, i sold my Nexus 4 to my friend, but time latter he said to me that it doesn't start, it's like a Boot loop, i tried to do a factory reset, flash roms, flash factory imagen and using Nexus toolkit but nothing... (And when i Boot it charging, it give to me the red light, when i had it, it gave to me when it was booting but charging)

Transferring app data from s5 to s7 using helium

Hi there,

I am upgrading my phone from a Samsung s5 to the new s7 edge. The app I want to have data backed up is neko atsume.

So I installed helium as per instructions and commenced the backup - successful. I then proceeded to restore it on my s7e, but helium doesn't show any available backup.

Still trying to keep it to simple processes, I tried to reverse the process and installed neko atsume on the s7e, and proceeded to do a backup there.

I found that when helium backed the app up on the s5, it produced a .json file in the carbon folder. However, when it was backed up from the s7e, it produced a .ab file.

I'm guessing incompatibility is the problem, and am wondering if there's any way around it - either file conversion or smth.

Help and advice needed please.

Swapping Micro SD Card

Hi guys,

I'm upgrading to a higher capacity SD card on my rooted Note 3 on Lollipop and I was wondering if there's a best practice for this. I have too many apps installed on the SD card in there currently to move them all over to internal storage and then move them back to the new card. I absolutely could uninstall them and reinstall them but I thought there may be a better way?

Battery Calibration issue

Could someone kindly point me to the area of know-how for an issue im having with my battery. After flashing many roms and restoring many backups, my phone is losing battery faster than ever without any services running. I have used a battery calibration app to assist in my issue but to no avail. It will drain very fast but lose ZERO percents over night and even gain 4 to 5 percent while the screen is off for extended time. THis led me to believe my battery is out of whack and needs some TLC pls help b0ss

Problem booting; stuck at smth like command line.

So today i tried to install RemixOS on my pc that is running : i5-4440;8gb RAM;GTX770. I had a ~9GB NTFS Partition and I wanted my RemixOS to be in it. First I Downloaded the 64bit one and tried it, it didnt work, it booted to some kind of consele mode or idk what, here is a picture (it is from 32 bit one, but it was the same in 64bit one) http://ift.tt/1XY2eMJ . (this is image from second or third boot, in the first one it checked the partition ect.. and it had no errors at all) than i tried it on my SSD and the same thing again. After this I tried the 32 bit on my Partition and the same thing as on the picture. After it I tried it on my SSD and the same thing. I would be very thenkfull if someone here helps me.

Galaxy s6 bad battery life and a couple more things. Please help!!!

Hello there. Im having some bad times with my new galaxy s6. I bought it from a shop, unlocked, as i noticed it was from sprint cuz its the g920p, which is a sprint variant, and it had on settings some sort of app from sprint. That doesnt matter. My battery life sucks. I have like...4-5 hours of usage, if i use it without a break or something. Also, in settings i dont have the Battery or Battery status section which is kind of annoying cuz i cant see for real what is happening with my battery. I disabled the location, i use my wifi or data and then i close them, i dont let them opened. In my wifi settings i unchecked "always scan for wifi" or something like that. After every reboot i get one more percent of the battery down, and also, after every single reboot, after the samsung logo, "Android updating 1 app out off 1" appears, and then after it "updates" it, its all functioning. Like..i dont get it. What app has to be updated every single time i reboot? Please help me with this...or at least the battery drain problem..:(:(:(:(:confused:

Is there a ROM Comparison Thread?

I'm running Lollipop InsertCoin on my M8 on AT&T. I'd avoided early Marshmallow because the external SD Card access was broken. If external SD Card access, without integrating into the ROM (so I can still use the card in a reader) is working now, is there a thread comparing the current InsertCoin, Cynanogen, LeeDroid, ICE, etc ROMs?

Install follows wipedata / factory reset and then a new clean room then wipe cache partition and wipe Dalvik cache and then install rom choose the option note 3 n9005 international CSC then choose default
then do not wipe keep apps and that's it you set the phone starts up and appears with a logo and a blue light and regulations Bit Set Warranty : kernel and nothing happens that I leave to stand for half an hour , or who knows what I'm doing wrong pleas help whit this.

Annoyances of having Type C

Just wanted to rant about how the most universal USB port is still so un-universal. I went to my buddy's house last night for a party, and my phone died like 20 minutes after I got there. He had a few micro USB cables, but no one had a Type C. I know it's my fault for not having my own cable, but man, what a pain. I can't wait until it actually is the norm.

Unable to change DPI after downgrading to 4.4.2

After going through the really frustrating pleasure to downgrade from 6.0 back to 4.4.2 to get back my beloved customization, I'm now facing an even bigger issue.

For some reason I am unable to change the DPI of my Mate 7. I've tried it all, apps, editing the build.prop manually.. nothing. Even though the build.prop still says the DPI is set to my custom 420, the interface is still at 480 DPI.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or know about a solution? I'm really puzzled as to why the build.prop setting is simply ignored.

android pumpkin DAB problem

hi guys,
im just after some help
ive bought a pumpkin android unit for my2010 golf. and also purchased the DAB box.
now......when i use the dab i only get sound from the left hand speakers. although when i play cd, ipod or radio then sound comse out of all the speakers.
ive contacted pumpkin, who to be fair sent a new dab box and wires but ive still the same issue with the new one.
now i know the next issue will be to take it all out (pain) and send off at my own cost. They said they have never come across this before either.
Has anyone any ideas on this as ideally dont want to send away and have a hole in my dash and spend money posting back etc.
any help appreciated

Google notifications

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. Every once in a while I get a pop up notification from Google. Opening it, it directs me to Google settings. Is it telling me I need to change something? I didn't think so. Everything seems to be working fine. More annoyingly, I can't swipe it away. It seems the only way to get rid of it is to reboot the phone. Can anyone enlighten me as to what's going on here?

RCK show an picture with an android and and exclamation mark

Hi,

I played and I loose. now my TF201 do not boot anymore. (I'll tried to install a custom ROM hairybean unsuccessfully).

when I boot with power and vol - I have the screen with RCK, Android, USB and wipe Data.

if I launch RCK, I have a picture with a working bot and then this picture of an android and an exclamation point (http://ift.tt/23aap9W).

I tried to find a recovery to flash with fastboot.

Fastboot works:

S7 Hot while normal use

I just got my Galaxy S7 4 days ago and i notice that is getting hot when i am using it normally for lot of time like 1 hour strait.. If i use games it's gets warm almost cool so no problem there but in normal use like i start web browsing, looking on youtube, making calls or reading on Google Now it gets hot. I am not talking hot like unable to touch it but almost there. Like, a little bit hotter and i need to stop touching it. And while it does not burn my skin is really uncomfortable to use it like that. So are the S7 you guys have do the same? I come from iPhone and that does not get hot on normal use so i don't know if this is normal or not but since i saw the new S7 cooling system i supposed that should not be happening. :confused:

Best firmware(ROM) for Micromax Canvas Turbo A250(to fix issues)

My Micromax A250 has the following issues(because of installing different custom ROMs):
1. Camera is not able to focus.
2. Proximity sensor not working properly.
3. I am not able to install ROM directly from phone as recovery mode not working.
While going to recovery mode, it is showing me the Recovery Menu. But nothing is working. I cannot even factory reset the
phone. On the screen dead Android is being displayed. Nothing is working in recovery mode.

I can still use my phone with all of the above issues.

I need a stable and working ROM or any other way to fix all(or any) of the above mentioned issues.
It can be a stock ROM or custom ROM but as if I cannot install with phone itself, I need ROM which can be installed with SP Tool or any other PC Tool.
I was thinking of installing Cyanogen ROM, is it available for MMX A250?
Full description to fix all the issues will be appreciated.
Please help me out.

Camera and weird error at boot

So when I boot my phone up right before I can unlock my phone I get this message . I rooted my phone last night and I'm running pure ROM . Also today in the morning I realized my camera doesn't work . Every time I open my camera app it says cannot connect to camera . anyone know what I can do ?

Custom/reliable rom/operating system

So I am going to post this here, because the development section is ferboten to people trying to offer useful suggestions. Geez, I hope this is the right section.

Let me set it up. ANDROID IS BASED ON THE LINUX KERNEL. Everything, and I mean everything after that fact becomes android and bloat. Given this as the basis of all things android, I have a simple set of guidelines that should be used to create a solid, reliable, bullet proof operating system for devices able to use the android operating system.

#1. Create the kernel boot section of the basic platform that supports the very basic hardware features, including touch screen, radios, power/charging/battery management, wifi, bluetooth, nearfield, audio, microphone, s-pen,etc. Basics only.

#2 At this point STOP. Every single process or service to be run on the device from this point forward should be able to be individually selectable - or not. Yes, I understand that individual services or apps may have dependancies to other processes and that thouse need to be functional in order for a particular app to work. That is why, each additional service or app must list the dependencies and in the selection process, the installion will be required to verify you have the proper services installed and functioning, if not to list them and allow you to make the decision to proceed. Viola, we have NO MORE BLOAT WARE.

#3 Make selecting additional services/apps selection process a menu driven, tag selectable process. Make the unselection process smart to verify and identify the other apps dependant on the item you are killing/removing.

#4 Allow a built in snapshot option to capture the entire system as you have customized it for yourself and allow it to be backed up to external memory with the ability to bring it back, AT WILL. With no big hassles.

Those 4 items are a good start. By themselves alone, it would put all of us in the drivers seat of controlling and living with our devices.

I am aware that such a system is not for everyone. It does require some basic technical understanding of the process. But for the vast majority of users, I am certain, that an a la carte system is far superior to the bloated monstrosities being forced down our devices.

I would appreciate any refinements to my suggestions.

TWRP works fine,but I can't flash any rom on my Samsung GT-S6312

Hello everyone,I'm Tom from Croatia and this is my first post here.I'm trying to flash new rom on my Galaxy Young s6312 using TWRP.I have two roms on my sd card,one is Bulldroid-v2.zip,and another one is Remix v1.zip.When I flash bulldroid,it takes maybe 20 secs to finish flashing,and it says "successful",but after reboot the phone it goes only to the point where it displays it's own name and make,and would stay there forever.When I flash remix,it fails every time.Please give me some idea how to solve that issue and flash my phone successfully....Thanks....

Gmail & Inbox by Gmail sync issues on 6.0.1

Hi,

I updated my Moto X Play to 6.0.1 day before as soon as it was released and the first thing it seems to have killed are Gmail and Inbox for Gmail notifications.

This was working smoothly on 6.0.0 and I've tried almost everything out there on the subject but nothing seems to get it back. I haven't tried a factory reset considering this will be a hassle.

Further, my emails in Gmail won't update either, so I have to go to the app, pull down and then the app takes a moment to refresh itself and pull down all new email.

Anyone else facing the same issues and any news on resolution?

Again not booting

This time i am using HP 15 laptop with 1Tb HDD (32Gb Separate partition for RemixOS), 8Gb RAM, Intel i5, Windows 10 Professional and 2Gb AMD Graphic Card. I downloaded the latest version on Remix OS from Jide.com released on 20/4/2016. Went to the proper instructed installer and everything went perfect but now the problem arises. Installer asked to restart and select RemixOS at boot prompt. It went good but every time hangs at loading. i am also attaching the screen at which it hangs. please help.

how do i enter Recovery without homebutton and without android working, lg l90

oke, once upon a time i decided to root my phone and install a rom(which one doesn't matter) and me being the genius i am forgot to format the system before installing the rom, rookie mistake i know and easilly fixable if only my physical homebutton worked. so now the question is how do i enter My TWRP without a homebutton or a working android system aas when i try to boot android it will just load forever(because if it would at least show up as a usb device i could start recovery from the adb shell) so does anyone have an idea??
