Leapdroid 1.7 crashes when typing

Good day everyone,

I recently installed Leapdroid 1.7 but whenever I try to type Leapdroid crashes. For example if I go to the play store and go to search for an app as soon as I type the first letter it crashes. Is there any fix for this problem ?
