Huawei P20 Lite may have been outed by Vodafone Spain

VentureBeat

Core details for the upcoming Huawei P20 Lite may have been accidentally revealed by Vodafone Spain. The carrier appears to have prematurely listed the device in one of its catalogs, according to a report from Engadget Spain (vis GSMArena) yesterday.

The catalog suggests the unannounced device will ship with a 5.84-inch display with FHD+ resolution (2220 x 1080 pixels) 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage (it's also likely to house a Kirin 659 chipset, though it isn't named). The dual rear-cameras are said to come with 16 MP + 2 MP sensors, while the front-facing camera would feature a single 16 MP sensor.

Additionally, the handset is stated to be running Android 8.0 Oreo and powered by a 3,000 mAh battery (notably less than the 3520 mAh battery previously rumored).

Potential price and release date information was also outlined by Vodafone—it's expected to go on sale for €369 (~$450) SIM-free from March 27 in Black and Blue colors.

Though the speculation conflicts slightly with past reports with regards to the battery capacity and camera setup, this is the most official-looking leak yet and potentially the most accurate. Check out how the rumors are shaping up for the more premium Huawei P20 and P20 Plus at the link, and give us your thoughts on the speculation in the comments.
