Update (3/30): Verizon and Sprint are now rolling out the Oreo update to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The news arrives from Droid-Life (via Phone Arena) following tip-offs from several people, and from one of our own readers (thanks Scott!).
The updates deliver Samsung's Experience 9.0 UI with expected Oreo features like notifications dots, picture-in-picture mode, and adaptive icons. They also feature software version number N950USQU3CRC2, and come in at more than 1 GB in size like the recent AT&T update.
If you own a Sprint- or Verizon-branded device, head to your software update page how to see if you can pull the update (if it hasn't landed already). For all you T-Mobile folks out there, we'll let you know when we hear more.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Android update
The Galaxy Note 8 was released in September, 2017 running Android 7.1.1 Nougat and was expected to be one of the first Samsung phones to receive Android Oreo. However, it wasn't exactly the fastest flagship to get the new software, as this didn't start to roll out in western territories until mid-March.
Thankfully, it hasn't taken long for major US carriers to deliver the update following its appearance in France and Canada. Verizon, AT&T and Sprint have all delivered Oreo to the Note 8 now, though we have no ETA for T-Mobile. More soon (hopefully).
