More Motorola Moto G6 details leaked, with new photos

moto g6 leaked TENAA

  • A new TENAA listing gives us some official specs of what is likely the Motorola Moto G6.
  • According to the listing, the phone will have a 5.7-inch screen, a 3,000mAh battery, and overall dimensions of 154.5 x 72.2 x 8.3mm.
  • New photos listed on TENAA show a dual-camera setup on the rear- and curved-glass sides.

We won't know for certain until at least next month, but we already have so many leaks and rumors on the upcoming Motorola Moto G6, G6 Plus, and G6 Play that we probably won't be surprised when Motorola eventually announces the new entries in the smartphone line. Now, we have some newly leaked info from a TENAA listing that gives us an even clearer idea about the new G6 line.

We are not certain which of the flavors of the G6 line appears in the new TENAA listing, but it's most likely the standard Moto G6. Why? Because the screen size doesn't suggest the larger G6 Plus model, and the battery size doesn't indicate the longer-battery life G6 Play model.

With the model number XT1925-10, the alleged specs of the Motorola Moto G6 will be a 5.6-inch display, a 3,000mAh battery, and overall dimensions of 154.5 x 72.2 x 8.3mm. Judging from the photos below, the phone will have slightly curved edges, a dual-camera setup on the back, and a fingerprint reader on the front. This phone looks a lot like 2017's Moto X4.

Earlier leaks point to the Moto G6 coming with a 2,160 x 1,080 display resolution, a 12MP + 5MP camera sensor setup on the back, a 16MP camera sensor on the front, and a Snapdragon 450 processor. However, none of this is confirmed, but so far, all the rumors have lined up nicely with this TENAA listing.

The eventual announcement of the Moto G6 line will come on the back of a hard first quarter of the year for the company. Already in 2018, the company initiated a massive layoff at its Chicago offices; it allegedly canceled the Moto X5; and, earlier today announced that its president is stepping down.
