- List of supposed HTC U12 specifications revealed on Twitter.
- Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, and dual main camera all rumored.
- Twitter user also suggested the phone will be released in April.
Now that the Samsung Galaxy S9 has finally been released the rumor mill is free to move onto some other upcoming phones. Over the weekend, reports seem to have unveiled some pretty big details about the HTC U12, also known as the HTC Imagine.
According to HTC leaker LlabTooFeR, and seemingly corroborated by Evan Blass, the phone will have specs that compete with other 2018 flagships such as a Snapdragon 845 processor, 5.99-inch QHD display, up to 6 GB of RAM, and a dual main camera with a 12 MP and 16 MP sensor combo.
LlabTooFeR also suggests the phone will come with Android 8.0 Oreo, up to 256 GB ROM, and HTC's Face Unlock.
There will also be an updated version of HTC U11's headline feature, Edge Sense, which allowed users to launch apps by simply squeezing the sides of the phone.
You can take a full look at the leaked specifications in the tweet below. In a later reply, LlabTooFeR suggested that the phone will be released sometime in April.

A video released earlier this year seemed to show a version of the HTC's U11 successor being shown off at a 5G event in Taiwan. In the video, the phone had a bezel-less 18:9 display which seems to fit in with the rumors above.
HTC endured a pretty poor 2017 and saw revenue slump to its lowest in the past 13 years. While the U11 was well-received by many (including here at Android Authority), it wasn't enough to turn HTC's fortunes around. The Taiwanese giant will no doubt be hoping that the U12 fares better.
