Get iPhone’s “Live Photo” Feature on UMIDIGI Z Pro

The Z Pro is the dual-lens camera flagship from UMIDIGI that was unveiled on February 27 in MWC. We already know the specifications, which take the success from the UMi Z and add an interesting dual-lens SONY camera setup. Some of the best features on this phone are the "Pure Black and White" shooting, "3D Capture" mode, Super night mode and the bokeh with re-focusing capability. But this will also be the first smartphone after the iPhone to have "Live Photo" Mode.

Every picture you take with the UMIDIGI Z Pro can also be a Live Photo. Activate the feature in the camera app to capture a second and a half on either side of the photo that you take, and when you tap the photo in the gallery it will animate.

So you still get the 13-megapixel still image that you snapped, but you also get a little bit extra. You can remember funny moments which just happened one second and a half before and one second and a half after the photo was taken.

The Live Photo feature was introduced with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus back in September 2015. To date, the UMIDIGI Z Pro is the first ever Android smartphone to embed this technology into its stock photo app.
