Android File Transfer Help Mac -> S5

I downloaded File Transfer for Mac.... Upon connection of my Galaxy S5, an error pops up stating "no device found, please connect device." I tried reinstalling android File Transfer, NO GO. Tried restarting my S5, NO GO! Please help, thanks!!
