Google released six beta versions of Android Q without officially updating the Easter Egg. It wasn't until September 3 when the final version landed that we finally got a look at the Android 10 Easter Egg running on a Pixel device.
Instead of moving circles with psychedelic colors, the Android 10 Easter Egg takes you to a page with "Android 10" spelled out. You're free to move around the logo and numbers as you see fit. However, arranging the numbers so they look like the "Q" logo and then tapping the screen a few times takes you to a grid of squares.
The grid of squares is a modified version of a Picross puzzle. Solving the puzzle reveals different Android system icons, such as the volume up icon. We haven't fully messed around with the puzzle yet, so you might see other icons. That said, this is a great Easter Egg that stimulates the brain a bit.

The Easter Egg also adheres to your device's theme. That means you can play around with the Easter Egg in a light or dark theme.
Check out the light theme version of the Android 10 Easter Egg below:
#gallery-1 { margin: auto; } #gallery-1 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-1 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-1 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */If you want to activate the Android 10 Easter Egg on your own device (running Android 10, of course), here's a step-by-step guide:
- Open Settings.
- Tap on About phone.
- Tap on Android version.
- Repeatedly tap on Android version until the Easter Egg pops up.
