1. P30 and P30 Pro launch
Shortly after the DGiT Daily went out today, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro launched at a big Huawei event in Paris.
Here's a round-up of what you need to know, and it's not just the 5x optical zoom that's making waves:

- Also: DxOMark has ranked the P30 Pro as the new leader, too, scoring 112, vs next best Samsung S10 Plus, and Huawei's other devices, the Mate 20 and P20 on 109.
- The P30 price is 799 euros for 6GB RAM/128GB storage, with no other models, while the P30 Pro starts at 999 euros, with 8GB/128GB storage, up to 8GB RAM/512GB storage.
2. …Meanwhile Apple world
We woke up after Apple's event and summed up what it all means: from News+ to a credit card to gaming to TV+, it's a bold new media smorgasbord from Tim Cook, but some parts look a little underdone (DGiT). And yes, that is all meant to be a pun. Please clap.
3. This app cleverly turns the Galaxy S10's camera cutout into a battery indicator (AA).
4. Hijacked ASUS software updates installed backdoor on at least 0.5 million PCs (Ars Technica).
5. IKEA offers a peek at its Sonos-powered speaker: Symfonisk – coming April 9 (Engadget)
6. Google Maps begins letting users create public events (The Verge).
7. McDonald's is buying a "personalization and decision logic" company, which will initially allow it to change its digital Drive Thru menu displays "to show food based on the time of day, weather, current restaurant traffic, and trending menu items." (Reuters)
