Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL 360-degree render videos appear online

Mysmartprice and @OnLeaks have released render images of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL said to be based on technical designs. The rumored handsets appear in a pair of 360-degree videos, giving us perhaps our best impression yet of what's coming up later this year.

Editor's Pick

OnLeaks (real name Steve Hemmerstoffer) is known for producing accurate imagery of upcoming smartphones, and the Pixel 3 XL design lines-ups with photos we've previously seen in relation to the handset — including a display notch at the top and suspected dual front cameras.

The XL 3 is tipped to come with a 19:9 display, while the regular Pixel 3 model — which doesn't look like it will include a notch — is said to have an 18:9 screen.

It appears that Google is again taking the single rear camera approach, rather than the trending dual rear camera setup, though this hasn't harmed its Pixels' photography capabilities in the past. The minimal design of the previous Pixels also looks like it will be maintained, along with USB Type-C connectivity on the bottom, but the 3.5mm headphone jack isn't set for a magical return.

The SIM tray, meanwhile, seems to have been shifted to the bottom of the handsets — a first for the Pixel series.

According to mysmartprice, the Pixel 3 dimensions come in at 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9mm and the Pixel 3 XL measures 158 x 76.6 x 7.9mm.

Google has yet to announce either device but they're anticipated to arrive around September or October. What are your thoughts on how they're shaping up? Let us know in the comments.
