Download: Samsung app brings 29 new clock faces to Galaxy phones’ always-on displays

Earlier this month, Samsung surprised many of us when it launched an all-new version of its Good Lock UI customization app for its Galaxy smartphones. That app is not available officially in most of the world, but it appears that Samsung is not done yet with launching new apps for its Galaxy handsets. This week, it was revealed that the company has also launched ClockFace — a new app that offers some nice new clock styles for the phones' lock screens and always-on displays.

The new ClockFace app (spotted by SamMobile) supports all Samsung Galaxy phones with Android 8.0 Oreo running Samsung Experience 9.0. As you can see from the screenshots, the 29 new clock faces have a variety of styles, including some that look like a car's speedometer and even one that shows the time inside a bicycle's wheels. The app also lets you customize the color of the clock faces to your liking.

If you want to try the app out now, you can download the ClockFace APK from SamMobile at the link below. As with the Good Lock app, it's possible the ClockFace app won't work on your phone as Samsung has yet to release this app officially worldwide.

Once you have downloaded the app, go to the Settings menu on your Galaxy phone and tap on the "Lock screen and security" option. Make sure the lock screen option is enabled, and then select the "Clock and FaceWidgets" option. After that, tap on the "Clock style" selection and you should see a number of clock styles on the bottom. Scroll over to the final one, tap on it, and you should see the 29 new styles that were added by the ClockFace app. You can do the same steps for the always-on display by swiping to that section after you tap on the "Clock style" option.

Once again, this new ClockFace app may not work for your Samsung Galaxy phone, but it's always nice to know Samsung is working to add more functions and options for their customers.
