The highly anticipated OnePlus 5T launched just a few days ago, and it's on sale today. The latest flagship smartphone from OnePlus is available in many territories around the world, including India, where it is now on sale on Amazon and OnePlus.net.
On Amazon, the OnePlus 5T is currently available for Prime customers only, while all Amazon India customers will be able to place their orders on November 28.
As part of the initial sale, OnePlus has introduced a "referral leaderboard" from today until November 30. This will offer Rs. 1,000 off OnePlus accessories to those who refer the most people to buy a OnePlus handset, as well as points which can be redeemed for other OnePlus items. The top 100 referrers during the period will also receive a free OnePlus travel backpack.
This is available for buyers on Amazon or OnePlus.net (and more details on the referral scheme can be found at the link), though Amazon has some exclusive offers of its own.
HDFC Bank is offering ₹1,500 cash back on the device if you purchase it using one of its debit or credit cards on Amazon, while Amazon offers ₹300 cash back if you sign up for Prime, with a further ₹500 in Kindle credit when you sign into its app. That's as well as deals on device insurance and subscription services for you to take advantage.
OnePlus is certainly making a big initial push in India — one of its key markets — and is also holding popup events in Brigade Road (Bangalore) and Mall of India (Noida) today to promote the handset. As for the OnePlus 5T price, this comes in at ₹32,998 for the 6 GB RAM / 64 GB storage model and ₹37,998 for the 8 GB RAM / 128 GB model on Amazon (one rupee less than on OnePlus.net).
