Razer Blade Stealth 13 announced: Three pounds of goodness with a GTX 1650

Ahead of IFA 2019, Razer today announced the refreshed Blade Stealth 13. Whereas the previous model was available with the Nvidia GeForce MX150, the new Blade Stealth 13 now features the beefier GTX 1650 with 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM.

Announced as the successor to the GTX 1050, the GTX 1650 delivers noticeable performance gains over the MX150. The newer graphics card should comfortably deliver 1080p, 60fps gaming on the go if you lower your game's settings to medium.

However, not every Blade Stealth 13 variant features the newer graphics card. Razer announced three new Blade Stealth 13 models, with the new slick-looking Mercury White option positioned as the base model. That means a 256GB PCIe M.2 SSD and Intel's Iris Plus integrated graphics.

If you want the GTX 1650, you'll need to step up to at least the mid-tier model. This model features double the storage of the Mercury White option, though both models feature the same 13.3-inch Full HD matte display with 100 percent sRGB coverage. The top-tier model upgrades the display with Gorilla Glass, touch, and a 4K (3,840 x 2,160) resolution, with storage kept at 512GB.

All three models feature the 10th-generation quad-core Intel Core i7-1065G7 and 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Also the same are the 53.1Wh battery, glass touchpad, support for Wi-Fi 6, four stereo speakers, Windows Hello support, two regular USB Type-A ports, and two USB Type-C ports. One USB Type-C port supports Thunderbolt 3, while the other is a USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 port. Both USB Type-C ports work as power ports.

The updated Blade Stealth 13 will go on sale sometime this month in the U.S. and start at $1,499.99. All three Blade Stealth 13 variants will also be available in the U.K., France, Germany, Nordics, China, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan.
