Exclusive: Retail box confirms key HTC Desire 12 specs

Last week, we talked about how HTC might be releasing a new phone in the Desire series, and it was rumored to go by the moniker HTC Desire 12. We can now 100% confirm that is true. What's more, we can confirm the specs for the device as listed on the retail box for the upcoming entry-level smartphone.

According to the box, the HTC Desire 12 will have a 64-bit, quad-core MediaTek chipset with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It will have a 5.5-inch, 18:9 aspect ratio display with a 720 x 1,440 (HD+) resolution. The 12 MP rear-facing camera shoots 1080p video, and the front-facing camera comes in at 5 MP. It also has a 2,730 mAh battery, and there are slots for two nano-SIMs and a microSD card.
