Partial Google I/O 2019 schedule is live, includes ‘deep dive’ into Stadia

Google I/O 2019 is only a little over a month away. As usual, we expect Google to make some big announcements at Google I/O regarding Android, Google Assistant, Google Home, and the plethora of other Google products.

Today, Google posted a partial schedule of events happening at Google I/O 2019. While there are plenty of events we expected to see on the list, there are a few new things on the docket that should be fairly interesting.

First off, the main keynote event — where Google usually launches or announces several new products and features — will happen on Monday, May 7, at 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET). The keynote is expected to last two hours and, as usual, will be live-streamed for those of us who can't attend the event.

Elsewhere, there are a few events at Google I/O 2019 focused on newer Google products, most importantly the recently-revealed Google Stadia. On May 7 at 3:00 PM PT (6:00 PM ET), there will be an event titled "Stadia Streaming Tech: A Deep Dive," which should be very interesting. This event could reveal some new info surrounding Stadia and might be of interest for gamers to check out.

There's another event titled "What's New with Android in Cars" that could also be interesting, as Android Auto has made some pretty big advances over the past year. There are also events related to Android TV, Android games, smart home tech, Google Maps, and more.

There's also an interesting event titled "Moving Away from the Light with Android Q." Could this event be focused on the built-in system-wide dark theme Android Q will allegedly have?

Strangely, there aren't any events yet related to Wear OS. Google promises that new events will be added to the schedule on a regular basis, so hopefully, there will be at least one Wear OS-related event on the docket at some point.
