Previous coverage, February 21, 09:10 AM ET: The Samsung Galaxy S10 price and release date are finally official and we now know when we'll all be able to buy the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and the Galaxy S10e.
The most popular phone series in the world has reached its tenth anniversary and the South Korean giant is celebrating in style with arguably the best Samsung phones yet.
All three models — not to mention the hilariously overpowered Galaxy S10 5G, which has its own section at the bottom of this post — have frankly awesome specs, gorgeous design, and are packed with features. Be sure to check out the full specs and our Galaxy S10 hands-on for more details.
As you might expect, each phone in the series — even the "affordable" iPhone XR rival, the Galaxy S10e — carries a premium price tag.
Here's everything we know so far about the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10e price and availability, as well as all of the best early deals.
Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10e release date
The core Samsung Galaxy S10 series trio will begin shipping on March 8 in the U.S. However, you may have to wait a little longer for your device depending on which storage and color variation you order, if you're buying from Samsung directly (the delayed shipping times aren't reflected by third-party retailers like Best Buy and Amazon, so they may still ship all variants on March 8).
It's only the 128GB S10 and S10 Plus models that are set to ship later at the moment, but the potential two-week delay might frustrate some eager fans. Here's the current situation:
- Samsung Galaxy S10e – March 8 (128GB), March 8 (256GB)
- Samsung Galaxy S10 – By March 15 – 22, depending on color (128GB), March 8 (512GB)
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus – By March 15 – 22, depending on color (128GB), March 8 (512GB), March 8 (1TB)
Pre-orders for the phones will be available from February 21 until March 7, and anyone who pre-orders the Galaxy S10 will get a free pair of the all-new Samsung Galaxy Buds Bluetooth wireless earbuds.
Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10e price and availability
The all-new Samsung Galaxy S10e is the cheapest of the lot coming in at $749 unlocked. It's worth noting that this is by no means a "budget" phone. The Galaxy S9's vanilla model originally retailed for $719, so there's no S10 option that goes below its predecessor.
The Galaxy S10, meanwhile, is priced at $899, while the larger Galaxy S10 Plus starts from an eye-watering $999, which nicely matches the base Galaxy Note 9 model.
All three phones have options with higher storage and/or RAM. Here are the current prices if you purchase them unlocked direct from Samsung. At the moment, the prices are only different based on their onboard storage; there's no word on the prices with these phones with more RAM inside.
- Samsung Galaxy S10e – $749.99 (128GB), $849.99 (256GB)
- Samsung Galaxy S10 – $899.99 (128GB), $1149.99 (512GB)
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus – $999.99 (128GB), $1249.99 (512GB), $1599.99 (1TB)
AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, Spectrum Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Xfinity Mobile will all carry the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S10e on contract in both stores and online starting from March 8. If you're looking to buy an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S10, the main trio will also be sold via Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Sam's Club, Target, Walmart, as well as Samsung's official store and the ShopSamsung app.
Color options vary by region and it's likely certain colorways will be exclusive to various carriers. In the U.S., buyers will be able to pick from all color options except green. Here's a breakdown of all the Samsung Galaxy S10 colors so far:
- Samsung Galaxy S10: Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, Flamingo Pink
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus: Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, Flamingo Pink, Ceramic White/Ceramic Black (8GB RAM/512GB ROM and 12GB RAM/1TB ROM only).
- Samsung Galaxy S10e: Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism Green, Flamingo Pink, Canary Yellow
Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10e best deals and offers
Until March 7, anyone who pre-orders a Samsung Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S10 Plus will get their hands on a free pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds. The Buds are Samsung's latest true wireless earbuds and replace the Gear IconX line.
Samsung is also running a trade-in scheme where eligible handsets can be traded in for up to $550 off the price of its new flagships. The full list of devices is available at Samsung's website here.
Sprint
Sprint is offering the Samsung Galaxy S10 for $37.50 per month with no down payment (SRP: $899), the Galaxy S10 Plus for $41.67 per month with nothing down ($999), and the Galaxy S10e for $31.25 again with zero down ($749) all on Sprint Flex Lease deals. Also, if you pre-order any of these phones, you can get another second Galaxy S10e for free. The deal requires either two new lines or one new line and one upgrade, and the second phone is free with bill credits.
Boost Mobile
Sprint's no-contract subsidiary will sell the Samsung Galaxy S10e for $749.99.
Verizon
Pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S10e at Verizon starts at $31.24 per month (SRP: $749.99), and the Galaxy S10 starts at $37.49 per month (SRP: $899.99). The Galaxy S10 Plus pricing starts at $41.66 per month (SRP: $999.99). All of these pricing plans are for 24 months. Also, people who buy one of these phones can get a second Galaxy S10e, or $750 off the Galaxy S10 or S10 Plus, via bill credits over 24 months and one new line of service.
T-Mobile
T-Mobile will sell the Galaxy S10e starting at $20.84 per month with no down payment (SRP: $749.99) for the 128GB model, while the Galaxy S10 starts at $22.23 per month with $99.99 down (SRP: $899.99) for 128GB, and the Galaxy S10 Plus starts at $22.23 per month with $199.99 down (SRP: $999.99) for 128GB. All of these prices are for 36 months on T-Mobile's Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).
In addition, T-Mobile will sell the Samsung Galaxy S10e for half off its normal price and will cut the price of the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus by $390 with an eligible phone trade-in or with a new line in a special promotional deal. It will also offer $620 or more via bill credits when you buy one of these phones, trade in an eligible device and add a voice line. Finally, T-Mobile is offering Four unlimited lines plus four new Samsung Galaxy S10e phones for just $40 per line per month on the T-Mobile Essentials plan when you add a voice line or trade in an eligible device per line. The per-line price is with AutoPay after monthly bill credits.
Metro by T-Mobile
The no-contract carrier will sell the Samsung Galaxy S10e for $749.99 and the Galaxy S10 Plus for $999.99.
AT&T
AT&T will offer the Samsung Galaxy S10e for $25 per month, the Galaxy S10 for $30 per month and the Galaxy S10 Plus for $33.34 per month, all for 30 months. Also, for a limited time, anyone can get the Galaxy S10e, the 128GB Galaxy S10 or the 128GB Galaxy S10 Plus on AT&T and get one for free. The second phone will become free via bill credits that will total $1,000 over 30 months. The phones will also be sold via AT&T's FirstNet service for public safety agencies and first responders.
U.S. Cellular
U.S. Cellular will offer the Samsung Galaxy S10e for $24.96 per month, the Galaxy S10 for $29.99 per month and the Galaxy S10 Plus for $33.33 per month, all for 30 months. However, for a limited time, pre-orders for U.S. Cellular customers on any Total Plan, along with current upgrade-eligible customers who are on an Unlimited Plus Plan, can get 50 percent off of the Galaxy S10e, or put that amount towards a big discount on the Galaxy S10 or S10 Plus.
Xfinity Mobile
The mobile carrier subsidiary of Comcast has the Samsung Galaxy S10e for $31.24 per month, the Galaxy S10 for $37.50 per month and the Galaxy S10 Plus for $41.67 per month, all for 24 months, and all with just the 128GB storage option. You can also get a $250 pre-paid gift card from Xfinity Mobile if you order one of the new Samsung S10 phones by April 7, when you transfer your number and activate a new line.
Spectrum Mobile
The mobile carrier subsidiary of Charter "Spectrum" Cable has the Samsung Galaxy S10e starting at $31.25 per month, the Galaxy S10 for $37.49 per month and the Galaxy S10 Plus for $41.66 per month, all for 24 months, and all with just the 128GB storage option. You can also get the 256GB version of the Galaxy S10e and the 512GB S10 from Spectrum Mobile.
Three
The U.K carrier will offer the Samsung Galaxy S10 with a number of different plans, including one with 12GB of high-speed data for £29 upfront and £53 a month for 24 months. The Galaxy S10 Plus can be bought for the same plan for £29 upfront and £57 a month for 24 months. You can also get the phone bundled with the Galaxy Watch for £29 upfront and £67 a month for 24 months.
Best Buy
Best Buy has launched its Galaxy S10 store pages and they provide one immediate reason for buying there rather than from Samsung directly: all unlocked S10 variants are $50 less expensive than over at Samsung official. However, that does come at the cost of slightly fewer color options. Still, here's the breakdown:
- Samsung Galaxy S10e – $699.99 (128GB), $799.99 (256GB)
- Samsung Galaxy S10 – $849.99 (128GB), $1099.99 (512GB)
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus – $949.99 (128GB), $1199.99 (512GB), $1549.99 (1TB)
Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus pre-orders also come with free Galaxy Buds at Best Buy (while stocks last) just like at Samsung, but you'll have to wait six-to-eight weeks to receive them after applying.
You can get up to $550 off the S10 phones when you trade in an eligible device at Best Buy too. This means you could be walking out with a combined $600-off a brand new Galaxy flagship, and some free Galaxy Buds worth $150.

B&H
We'll keep an eye on B&H, but it hasn't offered any extra incentives to pre-order the new flagships yet. But you are getting the same prices (and same Galaxy Buds offer) as at Samsung official, if you prefer to give this retailer your business instead.
Amazon
The new devices are up for pre-order Amazon too, though the 1TB Galaxy S10 Plus model can't be found there just yet. Amazon's prices are the same as Samsung's currently, but this retailer is typically one of the first places to see price drops, so we'll be watching closely for any changes.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G price, release date, and availability
What about the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G? Samsung's 6.7-inch behemoth is easily the most kitted out phone Samsung has ever made. In addition to the titular 5G support, the ultra flagship packs a huge 4,500mAh battery and a 3D depth-sensing camera.

So far, Samsung has been very coy about pricing, though you can expect it to go well over the $1,000 mark. As for availability and a release date, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will be exclusive to Verizon for the first half of 2019. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile will all then carry the phone from "this summer."
