The Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro are two of the most anticipated smartphone launches of 2019. Today, some new press renders that reportedly show off both phones were posted by the WinFuture site, and the first thing that stand out is that both phones have some cool looking colors and gradients on the back.
The renders also show off the triple camera setups on the Huawei P30 Pro. If these images are indeed accurate, that means that previously leaked case images for the P30 Pro, which showed the phone as having four camera sensors in the back, are in fact incorrect. However, these new images for the P30 Pro do show what appears to be a square camera sensor at the bottom of the triple camera setup. WinFuture claims this sensor is, in fact, a telephoto lens with support for up to 10x magnification.
The renders for the Huawei P30 seem to confirm that the phone will have a triple camera set up as well (the previous phone, the Huawei P20, only had two rear cameras). These renders of the P30 and P30 Pro don't show a fingerprint sensor, which would suggest both phones might have an in-display fingerprint scanner. The renders also show a waterdrop notch on both phones, which again suggests that they won't have the big notches found on the previous phones in the series.
Keep in mind that Huawei has yet to confirm any details about the P30 series of phones, so take render leaks like this with a grain of salt. Huawei will officially reveal the P30 series at a press event in Paris on March 26.
