With a $400 price tag, the Google Home Max is Google's largest and most expensive Home speaker. Discounts have been few and far in between, even with the speaker almost a year old. That makes the latest $50 discount all that more appreciated and relieving for your wallet.
The discount is available for both Chalk and Charcoal color variants and through a variety of retailers, which include Best Buy, Walmart, Lowe's, and the Google Store. If you pick up the Home Max through Best Buy, you also get a free one-month subscription to TV streaming service TikiLIVE.
Don't forget Google is also set to unveil a slew of hardware October 9, when the company will reportedly unveil the rumored Home Hub. The device is topped to cost over half as much as the Home Max and feature a display.
The Home Hub might not have the audio chops of the Home Max, however, since the former will focus on showing off its Android Things software. Also keep in mind that the regular Google Home has yet to see any hardware revision in almost two years, so to expect one for the Home Max might be jumping the gun a bit.
As such, the Home Max is still a great buy if you are keen on a big smart speaker that features Google Assistant. To pick one up for yourself, hit one of the links below.
