Between leaked roadmaps, store listings and telecommunication listings, we know that the new Moto range is coming. But when though? That answer is April 19, if you're in Brazilian.
Lenovo has sent out invites for an event on April 19, Android Pit (Google Translate link) reports. We'd reasonably expect other regions to follow closely behind them.
As for the devices, previous reports tip the Moto G6 Plus to feature a Snapdragon 630 chipset, a 3250 mAh battery and a 5.93-inch display (2160×1080 resolution).
Meanwhile, the standard Moto G6 (seen the main image) has already made an appearance at China's TENAA body (model number XT1925). And these specs line up with a recent FCC listing for the same model. So that means 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, a 5.7-inch 2160×1080 display and a 3ooomAh battery.
In fact, the FCC listing also reveals that the G6 will be powered by a new-gen Snapdragon 450 chipset, while APAC countries and India receive a variant with a 16MP selfie camera (everyone else gets 8MP snappers). North American and Latin American buyers will also miss out on NFC connectivity.
Both the G6 and the Plus model are expected to feature dual-camera setups on the back.
Lenovo is also expected to reveal the Moto G6 Play, with a retailer listing claiming it'll pack a Snapdragon 430 chipset, 720p display and a 4000mAh battery.
Could Lenovo reveal the Moto Z3 Play in Brazil as well? It's anyone's guess, but previous leaks and regulatory listings show a phone with a Snapdragon 636 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage and Moto Mod support.
