We've known about the device for a few weeks now, but the Xiaomi Mi 6X has finally been revealed by the Chinese manufacturer.
As per the previous leaks and teases, we see a rear fingerprint scanner and USB Type C support. Xiaomi is also touting 7.6mm thickness here, which actually seems slightly thicker than the Mi 5X/Mi A1.
In the camera department, you'll find a 20MP+12MP dual camera layout (IMX376 and IMX486 respectively), enabling portrait mode shots. But Xiaomi is touting AI-powered scene recognition as well, claiming the ability to recognise dozens of scenes, objects, and subjects. A 20MP camera (IMX376) handles selfie duties, but megapixels generally don't mean much on the front, especially in low-light situations.
If last year's phone was any indicator, then we can expect the Mi 6X to launch outside China as the Android One-toting Mi A2.
