- A listing for the announced Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones appeared on Walmart's website.
- They're showing a $348 price.
- The headphones supposedly feature vastly improved voice quality.
The Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones have suddenly appeared on Walmart's website, hinting that the highly anticipated device might be available soon.
The Walmart listing shows the headphones at $348, which is right around the price we'd expect for the headphones, considering the previous WH-1000XM3 had a $350 MSRP. The page lists the headphones as out of stock, which makes sense considering Sony hasn't officially announced them.
Besides the price, the Sony WH-1000XM4 Walmart listing lists the specs of the headphones, and they look as promising as we'd expect. Previous leaks suggested that the headphones would feature ambient sound control, which lets select sounds in while listening with notice cancelation on.
The headphones will supposedly feature vastly improved voice clarity. They'll do so by utilizing a feature Sony calls Precise Voice Pickup, which features five built-in microphones with advanced audio signal processing. One of the biggest complaints about the WH-1000XM3 was voice quality, so it's nice to see an improvement there.
The listing also confirms LDAC, Edge-AI, quick-charging technology, touch control, multi-device support, and Adaptive Sound Control.
