More Google Stadia games revealed at Gamescom
Google Stadia was in the news this week, with a number of new games announced for the upcoming cloud gaming platform. The biggest new title is Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt, but there were a few other surprises like Orcs Must Die 3 and Samurai Showdown. Battle Chasers: Nightwar takes home Best Mobile Game at Gamescom
Battle Chasers: Nightwar was first released back in 2017, but the turn-based RPG was released on Android and iOS earlier this month. The port is excellent (as is the game itself), earning top prize for Best Mobile Game at Gamescom. It's inspired by classic SNES JRPGs, and is an ad-free paid title.
GeForce Now pushes cloud gaming to more Android devices
Nvidia's cloud gaming platform has been in beta for years, but this week the company announced that it will be expanding to more Android devices later this year. GeForce Now allows you to stream your entire Steam library, giving it a leg up on Stadia and other competitors.
Minecraft Earth Android beta signups now open
Minecraft Earth is set to take the AR gaming world by storm, and now Android users can sign up and participate in the closed beta. No official release date has been set, but expect it to come out some time later this year.
New Shovel Knight mobile game in the works
Retro platformer Shovel Knight has become quite the sensation since its successful Kickstarter launch back in 2013, and now the series is finally making its way to mobile. In a chat with PocketGamer, Yacht Games Club revealed that a Shovel Knight game designed specifically for mobile devices will be coming "in the near future."

Farm Punks global launch with tons of new features
The charming endless runner Farm Punks has been in open beta since June, but now it's officially been launched globally. A number of new features have been added since the beta, including leaderboards, sky boosts, achievements, and more.
Long overdue update coming to Terraria on mobile
It's no secret that the mobile version of Terraria is woefully behind the PC version, but update 1.3 is coming to Android and iOS on August 27. The update hit the PC version back in 2015, and adds more than 800 items, online multiplayer, expert mode, and an underground desert biome, among others.
Mobile MMORPG AxE: Alliance vs Empire adds PvP and more
The flashy mobile MMORPG AxE: Alliance vs Empire will finally live up to its name with an all new squad-based PvP mode in the latest update. It will pit two teams of three against each other in turn-based battles. New pets, pirate-themed cosmetics, higher gear levels, and more were also added.
