Just one day after the Android N Developer Preview 2 arrived, Nova Launcher Beta has already added the new style of folder icon. The new folder replaces the previous "stack" of app icons with a circular "window" through which you can see up to four clipped app icons contained therein. If you're all about having the latest and greatest but don't have a Nexus device, you can at least fake it till you make it with Nova Launcher Beta.

Of course, there's no guaranteeing the new folder icon will stick around in the final Android N update – what we're expecting to become Android 7.0 later this year – but it's a nice new look to try out (you will need at least Android 5.0 Lollipop to get the new folders though).
To get Nova Launcher Beta you'll need to enable Unknown Sources in your device's Security settings and install the Nova Launcher Beta APK. If you like to be on the bleeding edge at all times, you can also sign up for the Nova launcher Beta group, because you just know there's going to be new Android N features added to the launcher in the very near future.
What do you think of the new Android N folder icon? What change do you want to see next in Android N?
