Start backlit key as notification LED?

I was thinking, now that we have full access to windows 10 mobile's registry can we make this https://youtu.be/QGXj9CfMyqE?t=15s happen and use it as notification led?
I don't really know how notifications work on windows 10 i'm just giving ideas :|
