Can someone with the latest update check if this tethering loophole still works?

Hey there.. I'm on APC5 and there is a loophole which allows you to use WiFi Hotspot, I wanted to see if it still works with the latest update.

. Reboot the phone, quickly unlock (before everything loads) go to settings (quickly) go to Hotspot and enable the WiFi Hotspot and try to connect a device to it and see if it works. On my version, if this is done fast enough WiFi Hotspot works and the subscription error doesnt come up.
