NVIDIA's four-day April Sale is underway, but if you want to cash in on these great titles, you'll have to act fast: April 17th will be the last day they're available at these prices. Some of these games are NVIDIA SHIELD GeForce Now exclusives, but there are also games available for other Android devices as well.
Let's take the non-GeForce games first. Right off the bat, you can get the lush, steam-punkish point-and-click adventure game Machinarium for half off. Also running at 50 percent its going rate is the Raiden-starring swordplay-heavy Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. We're not quite sure why you combine two words that kind of mean the same thing for your game title, but if you can put the grammar nerd in you aside, this is a great quick-twitch slasher that's sure to be a fun way to carve through some hours.
Next up on deck, also 50 percent off, is Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings. It's an arcade sports game that has a deeper-than-you-might-expect single player campaign and the ability to play local multiplayer. On the more indie feeling, games-as-art side of things, we have Parallax, a completely black and white game that's going for half off as well. Looking for physics puzzles and slick minimalism? Search no further.
Also on sale are a variety GeForce Now games. If you're a SHIELD owner and a subscriber to the $7.99 per month subscription, then you'll be able to stream these games directly from the cloud right to your shield. The lineup for GeForce Now kicks off with Mad Max, which is a whopping 66 percent off. If you enjoyed the blockbuster movie, then you'll probably enjoy getting into the action yourself with these rugged, terrifying vehicles.
Also available is The Wolf Among Us for 50 percent off. This is an intriguing adventure game in which you are a wolf desperate to pass himself off as a human being. Definitely worth a look. And finally, closing out the sale is the legendary classic Day of the Tentacle: Remastered. This 1993 cult hit has been revamped with high res graphics and director's commentary, and it's currently 10 percent off in the Play Store.
