The Mi Note 10, also known as the Mi CC9 Pro in China, is launching in Europe on November 6. Xiaomi has spared no effort in promoting the penta-camera phone across Twitter. However, folks over at XDA-Developers have found fresh evidence proving that the Mi Note 10/Mi CC9 Pro is not the only 108MP Xiaomi smartphone in the works. The publication has uncovered proof regarding the existence of the Mi Note 10 Pro, joining the Mi Note 10 and the previously announced Mi Mix Alpha.
A teaser image shared by Xiaomi Poland shows a Halloween-themed photo taken by the 108MP camera of what the company says is the Mi Note 10. However, digging through the EXIF data of the file, XDA found that the image was in fact clicked using a smartphone called the Mi Note 10 Pro.
We downloaded the image and extracted the EXIF data details (via exif.regex.info), confirming XDA's findings. You can see them below.
Looks like Xiaomi wants to keep the Pro variant a secret for now. It's possible that the company will share more details about the phone on the November 6 launch date of the Mi Note 10. Given its name, Xiaomi will most likely launch it in Western markets.
It's not clear what upgrades the phone will bring over the regular Mi Note 10. Since the camera offering on the Mi Note 10 is already pretty attractive, it's possible Xiaomi will up the processor, RAM or display on the Pro version. It would be nice to see a Snapdragon 855 or 855 Plus chipset on the phone as opposed to the Snapdragon 730G on the Mi Note 10/Mi CC9 Pro.
