With rumors of a 5G version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 coming in hot, Galaxy Club reported today a third 5G-capable Samsung phone is in the works. Best of all, the phone's rumored mid-range hardware means it might not cost an arm and a leg.
According to the report, Samsung is currently testing the previously-rumored Galaxy A90 with model number SM-A908N on a 5G connection. Samsung will reportedly launch the Galaxy A90 with 5G support in its home country of South Korea this year.
In addition to 5G, this variant of the Galaxy A90 might also feature at least two cameras: a 32MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary camera. There might be a third sensor, though it's unknown whether Samsung will house the cameras in a pop-up mechanism. A previous rumor mentioned a pop-up camera system, which could house the selfie camera.
Due to a lack of confirmation from Samsung, take all of this with a grain of salt. That said, the Galaxy A90 5G could end up being Samsung's most affordable 5G smartphone yet. By comparison, the Galaxy S10 5G starts at an eye-watering $1,299.99 for the 256GB variant and goes up to $1,399.99 for the 512GB variant.
