Galaxy A6 Plus support page pops up on Samsung site – is it launching soon?

Samsung Galaxy A8

A support page for what is believed to be the Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus has appeared on Samsung's Poland portal, indicating that the device is gearing up for release. The page was spotted by GalaxyClub (via SamMobile) following an earlier sighting at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The support page identifies the device as SM-A605FN/DS — the same model number spotted at the FCC — but it provides no further information about the handset. Previous rumors suggested it will ship with a Snapdragon 625 chip and 4GB of RAM, while the standard Galaxy A6 variant would include an Exynos 7870 chip and 3GB of RAM.

The earlier FCC listing also hints that these would feature a Galaxy S8-like Infinity Display as an included screenshot from standard model reveals on-screen buttons (see below).

The A6 and A6 Plus are tipped to be lower-tier alternatives to Samsung's new Galaxy A8 series (one of which can be seen at the top of the page), which sits behind the flagships — the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus — in terms of capabilities.

Samsung has yet to confirm the A6 or A6 Plus, or the regions in which regions they'll be available, but they'll almost certainly land in Europe, along with North and/or South America.
