You can rearrange app shortcuts with just one tap on the Galaxy S8

In addition to facial recognition, Bixby, and other major features of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the two devices also offer a few lesser-known functionalities that some users might find quite useful. One of them is the option to move the app shortcuts on a home screen either down to the bottom or up to the top of the screen with a single tap.

SamMobile

This is a good feature to have, especially if you have a bunch of shortcuts scattered across the screen. Instead of moving each one to a new position, you can simply tap on the screen to automatically arrange them side by side either at the bottom of the screen or on top, depending on your preference. This saves you a bit of time and makes your home screen look a lot more organized.

Based on the size of the screens found on Samsung's flagships, you'll probably want to position the shortcuts at the bottom, for easy access. Especially if you want to use the device with one hand. Those of you with smaller or even average hands will have a hard time reaching the very top of the screen of either the Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus, as they are both large devices. Especially because of the aspect ratio (18.5:9), which makes both smartphones narrower and taller than other phones.

This isn't a major feature, and you're probably not going to use it every day. Nevertheless, it is still a nice addition for the right person.

What do you think about this feature? Do you find it useful? Let us know down below.
