One of the best Android tablets you can buy today is about to get even better. According to GalaxyClub, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 could receive an upgraded 5G variant soon.
Samsung is one of the companies pushing 5G the hardest. The 5G variants of the Galaxy Fold, S10, Note 10, and A90 lines have seen moderate success around the world. It appears that its tablets also aren't immune to the 5G bug.

GalaxyClub reported the device appeared yesterday at the Wi-Fi Alliance (PDF) and the Bluetooth SIG database. Together, the sources confirm the corresponding SM-T866N model number is the soon to be released Galaxy Tab S6 5G.
It appears Samsung only plans to release the tablet in South Korea as of right now. We aren't sure if the device will launch in other areas or if there is even a market for it outside of Samsung's home country.
South Korea's 5G network is already quite established compared to the rest of the world. Spotty stateside 5G performance and declining tablet sales could keep the device from coming to North America. Regardless, it's still exciting to see 5G become more common across different devices.
The Galaxy Tab S6 is already a great Android tablet. If this upgrade follows the same trend as the Galaxy S10 5G, the new Tab S6 5G should offer more than just a connectivity boost. We will have to wait and see if it launches with any other updated specs or features.
