One of the shining features of the OnePlus 6T is its display, with a tiny waterdrop notch, slim bezels, and unobtrusive chin. When you hold the 6T in your hand after buying it, it really does feel like there's nothing but screen.
However, if you watch a recent Instagram advertisement from OnePlus promoting the 6T, you might come home disappointed after purchase. That's because the OnePlus 6T in the ad has much smaller bezels and a nearly non-existent chin.
The ad's deception was spotted by Twitter user @pedropeguerojr (via Android Police). Check out Pedro's tweet below which not-so-subtly calls OnePlus out for this graphical trickery:
Hey @OnePlus that chin ain't that small pic.twitter.com/lHtGOsznLt

I don't know about you, but that phone looks awesome. I wish my OnePlus 6T looked like that.
Unfortunately, my OnePlus 6T looks like the real OnePlus 6T, which is this:
Yeah, those bezels and that chin are a lot bigger than in the advertisement.
It's not uncommon for ads to feature digitally altered displays, but this is too much. OnePlus is trying to sell us on a phone with an edge-to-edge screen when that just isn't the case. Bad form, OnePlus.
