- You can now download all eight of the OnePlus 6T wallpapers.
- The new images add a metallic look to the color swirl design found on previous wallpapers.
- Live wallpapers were also pulled off of the OnePlus 6T, but can only be used on the OnePlus 6.
The OnePlus 6T is officially here which means the phone's wallpapers have been made available for everyone to download. But in addition to the four new static wallpapers, someone over at XDA-Developers was also able to pull the phone's new live wallpapers off of the device. While anyone can download and make the static images their phone's background, the live wallpapers are limited to OnePlus 6 users.
Looking at the various images below, the OnePlus 6T features eight wallpapers in total. While four are from the previously released OnePlus 6, the Chinese company yet again worked with designer Hampus Olsson on creating another four specifically for the new handset. While these new wallpapers retain the color swirls that we've seen OnePlus use in the past, the new backgrounds feature a metallic look.
You can download all eight OnePlus 6T wallpapers using the button below, or you can grab the OnePlus 6T-specific wallpapers in glorious 4K directly from Olsson's website.

As mentioned, OnePlus added three new live wallpapers to the OnePlus 6T. Unfortunately, these are only available for the OnePlus 6 running OxygenOS 9 based on Android Pie because the live wallpapers run on top of the phone's "OPWallpaperResources" system app.
These live wallpapers look almost identical to the static images that you can download above. What makes them unique is a small movement that appears in the color swirl when you first unlock the phone. It's not much, but it looks cool.
We're sure a third-party developer will find a way to port these live wallpapers over to other Android smartphones eventually.
