My Virgin Mobil Event phone keeps freezing up at logo even when already rebooted

I can seem to reboot my Virgin Mobile Kyocera Event C5133. The screen keeps getting stuck on the logo and won't go pass that point. I have had this phone only for 3 months as a Christmas gift. It would be a shame to get rid of it. Please help.
