Hydro icon with 4.4.2 need to root

I just bought a hydro icon with 4.4.2 on it. I need to tout it and I have searched and searched and tried alot of methods. None have worked and allot of ppl are saying it can't be rooted. I don't believe it can't be rooted... does anyone know how to get this thing rooted? I need to use wifi...
