As we start a new month, the time is also just right to try out some new Android games. Thankfully, you won't have to look too hard to find some good ones that are currently free or on sale in the Google Play Store.

One of the best examples of a game that's currently free to download is Sorcery! This fantasy RPG is based on the classic paper gamebook novels from legendary RPG creator Steve Jackson. The Android version, developed by inkle, is normally priced at $4.99, but for a limited time you can download and play Sorcery! for free.

Another terrific game that can be bought at a discount is Tokaido. This adaptation of the popular strategy board game, set in ancient Japan, is normally priced at $6.49 at the Google Play Store, but you can snap it up right now for the much lower price of $2.99.

A challenging 3D puzzle game that has a most unusual title can be bought for half off its normal price for the next week. Nexon's After the End Forsaken Destiny has the player exploring a fantasy world full of creatures and challenges, and it has a beautiful minimalist art style. The game is normally priced at $3.99, but for the next week you can get it for just $1.99.
