One of the disadvantages of buying a device on Verizon Wireless is the difficulty involved with rooting the device. XDA Member JUSMEJOSE recently posted an engineering boot image on the S7 Edge forums, and then XDA Recognized Contributor jrkruse packaged this boot image into an ODIN flashable image. Although there are a few issues with speed, it appears that this is currently the best method to achieve root access if your device is on Nougat.
