I have a Galaxy GT-P5110 10.1 which has suddenly died ,no display ,no charge, nothing.I`ve tried all the usual resets, button pressing and even factory reset.
I`ve removed the back and disconnected the battery and connected a constant current power supply ,set at 3.7volts directly to the internal power conncector and this immeadiaately showed a current compsumtion of just over 1 amp.! which seems quite high and probably indicates a short somewhere possibly the battery control I.C ? The on /off button has no effect.Any body got any ideas before I start to look for a service manual?
